Jillian Freed has over 20-years experience in sales, marketing and business development in a wide range of businesses.  After graduating from George Washington University with a B.B.A. she spent her career working with start-ups and troubled businesses.  She is a successful author and mother of 2 beautiful boys.  She offers a unique customer service perspective and with her own sense of sarcastic humor, strait forward, no holds bared, take no prisoners style each show is an experience not to be missed.  She helps give the show its “fun” flair.

The Law Office of Steven B. Leavitt was founded in 2002 with a unique business message. This team, in every sense of the word, takes a “Family first- quality of life “ approach to everything they do.  They treat clients like family and believe in “true customer care”. Their client base consists primarily of independent inventors, entrepreneurs and small to medium sized businesses. They believe in putting together a quality product at a fair price.  Steven’s unique client selection process allows a much higher than average patentability ratio. One reason for this success is that Steven handles each search personally and nothing leaves the office without his personal “stamp of approval’

Dallas Texas, February 9, 2006 - The Law Office of Steven Leavitt L.L.P. rolls out “Door2Door B2Bä in the Dallas Metroplex”!  Leading the charge is new Customer Relations expert Brent A. Clough.  Brent’s extensive background in corporate development, project management and problem solving with fortune 500 companies like Sprint and AT&T makes him the ideal person to run this innovative program.

Brent’s attention to detail and dedication to his clientele is a great fit for the Law Office of Steven Leavitt team. His enthusiasm gives the small to mid-size business the personalized attention that has been severely lacking industry wide.  Historically the smaller business does not warrant a law firm’s full attention.   Attorney Steven Leavitt and his team have created this program so the small and mid size businesses will be given the attention of a large corporation. Their plan is to reach a level of success in Dallas and then expand to include other cities starting with Sarasota, Florida in June.

Door2Door B2Bä will have Brent’s visiting businesses in person, planning out an Intellectual strategy timeline with the owner and implementation on a regular basis.  When needed an attorney from Steven Leavitt’s team accompanies Brent to the site to point out Intellectual Property opportunities that may have been forgotten or overlooked.  This kind of personalized service is just one of the tools the Law Office of Steven Leavitt offers to educate and save the business owner time and money by allowing them to stay at their own site and not wasting valuable time driving to the attorney’s office. The Law Office of Steven Leavitt aided by their web site www.YouInventIt.biz  offers

Many other businesses tools to increase their Intellectual property awareness and ultimately their bottom line! Clients and perspective clients can contact the firm with questions at any time, day or night. When a team member is not personally available, a message can be left and is returned in less than 24 hours, seven days a week. The same goes for e-mail to info@YouInventIT.com  or Radio@YouInventIT.com for questions to be answered on the weekly radio shows You Invent It… We Protect It.

Small Business Resolutions for the New Year

The start of the New Year brings with it great possibilities. If you are a small business owner, you probably have big ideas for the year ahead, such as new product launches and visibility for your goods. Whatever the scenario, be sure to make IP protection part of your plan.

Your intellectual property, your own innovative idea is comparable to your identity. Once it’s stolen, it’s hard to get it back. Protecting your intellectual property rights early will help safeguard your product or service from illegal replication down the road.

The counterfeiting and piracy of consumer goods and products is steadily on the rise, both in the United States and abroad, and poses threat to the U.S. economy. Small-businesses are particularly vulnerable because they often lack resources and expertise.

Recognizing that this is an increasing concern, last year the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) launched a small business education program. This program is designed to educate small business owners about the increasing problem of intellectual property theft and to inform them about the steps they can take to protect their intellectual property. As part of the program, the USPTO has also launched a Web site http://w ww.uspto.gov/smallbusiness dedicated to providing information particularly relevant to small businesses.

For more information on benefits of strong IP protection, both in the United States and overseas, and for details on filing for IP protection, please visit http://w ww.uspto.gov/smallbusiness.
