His patent experience has included preparation of domestic and foreign patent applications; infringement opinions, patentability opinions, and validity opinions.
His areas of expertise relates to a wide range of technologies, including computer software, electro-mechanical devices, chemical and process applications, mechanical arts, and the oil industrial.
John has also prepared trademark and service mark applications. His litigation experience has included cases involving patent infringement, unfair competition, copyright infringement, and breach of contract. Industries serviced include refining, chemical processing, petrochemicals, agriculture and food, computers, oilwell drilling, sports, education, telephone, wastewater, mechanical equipment, instrumentation and explosives.
John is a member of the Texas State Bar and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
